Composites One recently partnered with Polynt to host another highly successful Closed Mold Workshop in Kansas City, bringing together 40 customers from across North America for two days of interactive training and technical education. The workshop reinforced Composites One’s ongoing commitment to helping manufacturers advance through innovation, technical expertise, and collaborative learning opportunities.

The event combined classroom-style instruction with practical, real-world application. Sessions were led by Composites One’s Technical Team alongside specialists from Polynt and several leading supplier partners. Throughout the workshop, attendees explored best practices for improving composite manufacturing processes, with topics including resin systems, process selection, vacuum infusion techniques, and closed mold production strategies.

One of the workshop’s highlights was the hands-on Demo Zone, where participants worked directly with technical experts during live process demonstrations. Attendees observed and practiced techniques such as vacuum infusion, Light RTM, and reusable silicone bag molding, giving them the opportunity to apply newly learned concepts in a practical setting.
