Composites One Brings Hands-On Closed Mold Workshop To Mexico

We are thrilled to announce the success of Composites One’s first technical workshop last month in Mexico. Held at the ChemTrend facility in Queretaro, MX, Transformando Materiales Compuestos Con Molde Cerrado brought together industry professionals for a day of learning, networking, and hands-on experience with various closed mold processes.

The day kicked off in the auditorium, where attendees heard from industry experts on topics including current trends and forecasts for the composites industry in Mexico, the benefits that closed mold processes provide manufacturers, and a detailed overview of mold making, including material selection, design considerations, and fabrication process.

The event then moved outside to the Demo Zone, where attendees had the unique opportunity to witness live process demonstrations from the Composites One Technical Team and other industry-leading partners. From material selection to application, the demonstrations covered processes like Light RTM, Reusable Bag Molding, Infusion, and more, providing attendees with an up-close look at the results and a chance to ask questions.
