ACMA Forms New Thermoset Molders Committee
Thermoset molding is an established and successfully used process in a number of market sectors with a growing demand for composites. This kind of molding has been integral in a number of areas, including the automotive, construction and aerospace markets. Yet, until now, thermoset molders, one of the core components of the composites industry, have not had a unified voice and representation working on their behalf.
The new Thermoset Molders Committee of the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) has been created to fill that void. The newest Composites Growth Initiative (CGI) committee will allow compression molders to work together with their suppliers and through ACMA to grow their markets. Marketing, codes and standards and political advocacy are just a few of the initiatives that will benefit member companies of the Thermoset Molders Committee.
