Foams and elastomers add strength, toughness, insulation and buoyancy to composites parts.

Among these products are syntactic foams used to increase the buoyancy of marine risers, boat hulls, and other marine applications. Rigid polyurethane foams are used for flotation, insulation, or as core materials. Flexible foams are used for seating and padding in a variety of recreational industries.

Liquid two-part spray and pour polyurethane foams are easily dispensed through equipment or hand-poured into molds and expand into rigid shapes. Non-foaming urethanes can be formulated into waterproof coatings, rigid plastics, or tough elastomeric (rubber-like) materials.
